What happens when you die? Exhibition of Death and Life of "Almost Day"

The theme of "What happens if you die", focusing on the original drawings and rough sketches of the picture book "Kanai-kun" drawn by Taiyo Matsumoto over two years, and the exhibition of unpublished "a different version from the actual production" We will hold an exhibition.
We will also exhibit a poem about the death of Shuntaro Tanikawa, who wrote the sentence of "Kanai-kun".
There are also video interviews, sales of "Kanai-kun" goods, and talk events.

Shuntaro Tanikawa / Tanikawa Shuntaro (pictured right)
Born in 1931. A poet.
Thousands of poems such as "Morning Relay", "2 billion light-years of loneliness", "Iruka", "Mimi", and "Living", as well as translations such as Leo Lionni's "Sui Me", Snoopy familiar "Pinets Books" series, "Mother Goose's Song", and lyrics such as the theme song of the TV anime "Astro Boy" and "Moonfire Mizuki Kin Saturdays and Sundays Song".
He is also actively engaged in live activities centered on reading poems.

Taiyo Matsumoto/Matsumoto Taiyo (left photo)
Born in 1967. A cartoonist.
In 1988, "STRAIGHT" was selected at the Four Seasons Award of the Monthly Afternoon. Debuted in the same work.
"Hanaman" He produces popular works such as "Iron Consuji Creat", "Ping Pong", "GOGO Monster", and "Number Five Go".
"Takemitsu Samurai" He won the Osamu Tezuka Cultural Award Manga Grand Prize.
His latest work is "Sunny" modeled on his childhood.


'Almost daily Itoi Shimbun' (abbreviation: 'Almost daily' = almost nichi)
The website was launched on June 6, 1998.
It started with a "newspaper sent every day on the Internet, there is no other, fun newspaper", and although it says "almost", it has been updated every day without resting for a day since its first publication.
Shigesatou Itoi and the crew of about 60 people create a wide range of content, including dialogues, columns, broadcasts of videos and music, and development and sales of original products.
