SHIBUYA,Last Dance_

Shibuya Parco will be temporarily closed on August 7, 2016 due to the redevelopment plan of the Shibuya Udagawa-cho area.
The Parco Museum has held the remaining three exhibitions under the name of "SHIBUYA PARCO MUSEUM FINAL EXHIBITION". This time, we will celebrate the end of the group exhibition entitled "SHIBUYA, Last Dance_", which will be held from July 29 (Fri) to August 7 (Sun), 2016, and will finish its role once.

Since its opening in 1973, Shibuya Parco has grown along with the city of Shibuya as a symbol of youth culture, and has transmitted various cultures from fashion, art, design, music, film, publication, and theater. "SHIBUYA,Last Dance_" is the last exhibition in which 12 artists, musicians, and fashion brands who were deeply involved with Parco during the times compete. With a little goodbye and a message for a new future, the Parco Museum "Last Act" will rise like a dream omnibus album.

Outline of the event

As the "last act" of the Shibuya Parco Museum, under the theme of "Last Dance", new works created by 12 participating artists for the exhibition and works according to the theme from valuable old works We will exhibit works according to themes.
The wide range of exhibitions by luxury artists unique to Shibuya Parco, such as paintings, graphics, posters, three-dimensional photographs, videos, music, costumes, essays, etc., will be suitable for a dream competition.
During the exhibition, talk shows, art installations, and live performances will be held by exhibitors and artists involved in Shibuya Parco.

The official poster for "SHIBUYA, Last Dance_" is the first gorgeous collaboration poster for "Photo Daido Moriyama" and "Art Director Tsuguya Inoue".
Tsuguya Inoue, who worked on Shibuya Parco's last campaign "Last Dance_", performed an art direction as an exhibition poster for the photographic work of "Shibuya no Machi" exhibited by Daido Moriyama at this exhibition.
To commemorate the holding of the exhibition, a luxurious version of the poster will be sold only at the exhibition venue.

１．Keiji Ito (Graphic Artist)
Born in Tokyo in 1958. He focuses on graphic work, art direction, and video. Received the Tokyo ADC Award in 2001. Tei Towa, Kimura Caera, Schadaraper, Kiringe, PES, Hiroshi Takano, ohana, Orange Peko, Bonie Pink, Aichi Expo 2005 World Official Poster, UK Cavendale, NHK Program Title & Set Design, SoftBank Campaign, KEIJI ITO x graniphCollaboration, and many other visuals. Many solo exhibitions. He also participated in many group shows in Japan and overseas.
"Shibupal Exhibition" in 2013 (Palco Museum) presented a collaborative work with Keiichi Tanaami.

２．Tsuguya Inoue (Art Director, Graphic Designer)
Art director, graphic designer Born in 1947. Established Beans in 1978. Art director and graphic designer. Art direction work for advertising, music, publishing, TV, etc. He continues to work across genres with novel design work of photography, music and typography. Produced by the Japan Professional Baseball Organization symbol mark "NPB". Tokyo ADC Grand Prix. Tokyo TDC Grand Prix. ３．Kenji Ozawa (Singer-songwriter, writer)
Born in 1968.
His latest works include the 2016 live tour "Magic Gterve as S Drams Keyeys", the 2015 reading "Silver coins come out from the red mountain" (collected from the literary magazine "MONKEY").

４．Kashiwa Sato
Born in Tokyo in 1965. Graduated from Tama Art University, Department of Graphic Design. Representative of the creative studio "Samurai". As a total producer of global brand strategy, he has received high praise for projects such as UNIQLO, Rakuten Group, Imabari Towel, Mitsui & Co., Ltd. and Yanmar. In addition, he presented works in the ARITA400 Project, a project commemorating the 400th anniversary of Arita porcelain, and creative work of the 8th generation Shikan Nakamura launched in the fall of 2016, bringing innovation to Japanese culture, traditional crafts, and technology, and presenting new possibilities to the world. Agency for Cultural Affairs. Professor at Keio University and Visiting Professor at Tama Art University. He has authored "Kashiwa Sato's Super Organizing Techniques".

５．Kotobuki Shiriagari
Born in Shizuoka Prefecture in 1958. After graduating from Tama Art University's Department of Graphic Design in 1981, he joined Kirin Brewery Co., Ltd., where he was in charge of package design, advertising, etc. Debuted as a manga artist in 1985's book "Electric Spring". He is attracting attention as a new type of gag manga artist with a focus on parody. Since independence in 1994, he has continued his own activities in various genres, from four-frame newspaper satirical manga to feature story manga and underground manga, while in recent years he has expanded his range of creation in various fields such as video and art. He has received numerous awards, including the Osamu Tezuka Cultural Award Manga Excellence Award (2001), and in 2014, he was awarded the Medal with Purple Ribbon in the Spring of 2014.

６．Shuji Terayama
Born in Aomori Prefecture in 1935. At the age of 18, he won the tanka poetry Research Newcomer Award at the Chehoff Festival. For 60 years, the virgin play "The blood is sleeping while standing" was performed at the Shiki Theater Company. He worked on the first scenario in the movie "Dry Lake". In 1967, he formed the theater laboratory "Ceiling Zashiki" with Tadanori Yokoo and others. Poet, essayist, novelist, critic, lyricist, film director and playwright. His main performances are "Semimushi in Aomori Prefecture", "Mary of the fur" (67), "Spikun", "Sevenmaru" (78), and "Reming" (79). Film director's work "Death in the countryside" (74), "Kusa Ray Palace" (78), "Saraba Akofune" (84). He wrote the songbook "Blood and Wheat" (62), "To you alone" (65), "Let's throw away books, let's go to town" (67). He died suddenly in 1983 at the age of 47. In 1997, the Shuji Terayama Memorial Hall opened in Misawa City, Aomori Prefecture, where he spent his childhood.

７．Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra (Musician)
In the latter half of the 1980s, they performed live mainly on streets and clubs, and overwhelming performances increased their mobilization with each live performance, and in 1989, released "TOKYO SKA PARADISE ORCHESTRA" indies. Since then, based on SKA, he has established a "Tokyo Ska" sound that transcends genres. SKA's originator SKATALITES invited him to accompany the US tour and said from DUB giant DENNIS BOVELL, "I have a schedule at any time for skaparagus." It is a performance that can present everything from authentic SKA to jazz and rock, making it a noteworthy presence among SKA bands around the world.

８．Katsuhiko Hibino (Artist)
Born in Gifu in 1958. Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts.
Received the Japan Graphic Exhibition Grand Prize in 1982, exhibited at the Venice Biennale in 1995. Major art projects in recent years include "Meigo Nichi Shimbun's Cultural Affairs Department / Tomorrow morning glory", "The day before yesterday Maru Soko Soko Imagiation Center" and "Asia representative Japan". In 2012, "Gifu Seiryu National Athletic Meet, Gifu Seiryu Tournament", 2014-15, Nippon Foundation Art Brut Museum joint exhibition "TURN / From Land to the Sea (power that people have from the beginning)" in 2015, Minna no Mori Gifu Media Cosmos Opening Commemorative Project "Minna no Art", Gifu Art Marucket "Flower Color" supervised by Gifu Art Maruket. ９．Daido Moriyama (photographer)
Born in Osaka in 1938. After being transferred from a designer, he worked as an assistant for Takeji Iwamiya and Eiko Hosoe.
Be a free photographer. In 1967, he received the Japan Photographic Critics Association Newcomer Award. In recent years, he has held large-scale exhibitions such as the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (1999, Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Art, Japan Society Tour), The National Museum of Art, Osaka (2011), and William Klein (2012-13) held at Tate Modern. In 2012, he received the International Photography Center Infinity Award Achievement Award, and received high praise worldwide. There are many photo books such as "Shinjuku" (2002 and 2003 44th Mainichi Art Award), "Monochrome", "Color" (2012), "Dog and Net Tights" (2015).

１０． TOMATO (Design Group)
Established in London in 1991. A design group composed of artists, musicians, designers and creative thinking. As a leader in the digital century, he continues to be at the forefront of graphic and virtual media design. The members are distributed all over the world and are active in fields such as media design, video, Blanding & CI, fashion design, modern sculpture & urban architecture design, experimental computer graphics, and fine art. John Warwicker, known as a typographer/artist, and Simon Taylor, who launched the fashion brand "Work Not Work", are enrolled. In the field of music, he is also known for having an influential electric duo "underworld" all over the world.

１１． HOMME PLISSÉ ISSEY MIYAKE (Fashion Brand)
"HOMME PLISSÉ ISSEY MIYAKE" is a brand that proposes new everyday clothes for men living today. The basic material is made of polyester which is not wrinkled and has excellent drying properties.
The main features are light and easy to move, and easy to maintain and carry.

１２． Ground Y [YOHIJI YAMAMOTO INC.] (Fashion Brand)
"Ground Wai" opened in Parco Shibuya as a concept shop of Yoji Yamamoto. An original brand of the same name is also developed, and various possibilities of fashion through Yoji Yamamoto's filters are proposed. We also engage in various collaborations through interaction with artists and creators who sympathize with the concept of "Ground Wai".
