THE TOMATO PROJECT 25TH ANNIVERSARY EXHIBITION “O”

March 2016. In commemoration of the 25th anniversary of Tomato, Parco will host the first retrospective multimedia exhibition "THE TOMATO PROJECT 25TH ANNIVERSARY EXHIBITION" from Shibuya, Tokyo to the world.
In this exhibition, various works created by Tomato will be exhibited in one hall. Commercial works that have been made for 25 years since its formation, their own works, and works experimentally produced within the team will also be exhibited. In addition, record jackets, graphics, video and artwork created by Tomato for Underworld will be exhibited for the first time.
This project will be exhibited using the entire Shibuya PARCO, centered on Shibuya PARCO "PARCO MUSEUM", "GALLERY X", and installation galleries utilizing stairs, and will also involve the city of Shibuya, leading to an adventure in the creative world created by Tomato through various installations.
『Tomato』 It is a comprehensive project that shows what kind of path you have followed, where you are now, and where you are heading.
In addition, a variety of surprises are planned, such as the limited opening of Tomato-produced Pop-up shops (fashion brands and books selected by them). In addition, it has been decided to publish three books to commemorate the exhibition.
The exhibition "THE TOMATO PROJECT", a catalogue limited sales of the exhibition, and John Warwicker's essay photo book "One Thousand Fathoms Deep" and Underworld's first book "The Box of the Books of the Book of Jam" will be released. Talk shows and workshops by Tomato members are also scheduled to be held.
In addition, as for the mechanism with the city of Shibuya, a collaboration with Shibuya Radio, which will open this spring, will be decided, and a surprise experience will be presented to visitors to Shibuya. In addition, virtual art will be developed on the street using AR technology, and video works will be broadcast on large-scale visions in the PARCO Hall and on the streets.
