The unknown world of absurdity by the genius artist Yoshikazu Ebisu.
Welcome to the pop and surreal Ebisu World!
Yoshikazu Ebisu, who is familiar with the image of "Ojisan who has changed because of gambling lovers" and recently is so popular that he has never seen it on TV.
After moving to Tokyo from his hometown of Nagasaki, Hiruko lived a normal office worker life and was selected in the magazine "Garo" in 1973 and debuted as a manga artist.
After his debut, he released original works one after another, including absurd and surreal gag comics. He is one of the most radical avant-garde manga artists who also played an important role in the field of subculture.
Since the 1980s, he has also demonstrated his talent as a film director, actor, and talent. He has appeared on many TV programs such as "Travel on Local Route Bus".
This exhibition will be a large-scale exhibition that will showcase the unknown absurd world of eccentric artist Yoshikazu Ebisu, over time, and will introduce new works that will be unveiled for the first time.
