An unknown world of absurdity by talented artist Yoshikazu Ebisu.
Welcome to the pop and surreal Ebisu world!
Yoshikazu Ebisu, who is familiar with the image of "Ojisan who loves gambling" and is so popular that there are no days when I do not watch it on TV recently.
After moving to Tokyo from his hometown of Nagasaki, Hiruko lived a normal salaryman life, and was selected for the magazine "Gallo" in 1973 and debuted as a manga artist.
After his debut, he announced his original works, including absurd and surreal gag manga, one after another. He is avant-garde cartoonist with the most radical style and one of the cartoonists who played an important role in the subculture field.
Since the 1980s, he has also demonstrated his talent as a film director, actor, and talent. He has appeared in many TV programs such as "Local Route Bus Transfer Journey".
This exhibition will be a large-scale exhibition that introduces the unknown world of absurdity by talented artist Yoshikazu Ebisu over the years, as well as the new works released for the first time.
What kind of work does it come out? The pop and surreal Ebisu world is fully open! I look forward to it!
