Tenmei era yasho HISASHI TENMYOUYA
A contemporary artist born in Tokyo in 1966.
The genealogy of the hegemonic beauty full of splendid spirit, such as Basara of the North and South Dynasties and the inclinations of the late Sengoku period, is collectively called "BASARA" in Roman letters, and works are created with a unique concept that connects the cultural axis of Japan and the historical axis and dynamically changes the art history.
He presents works in various forms such as paintings, magazines, newspaper illustrations, posters, and film art. In the official art poster of the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany, he was the only Japanese artist to be selected. Major group exhibitions include "Tenmei era Yahisa and Kyosai Exhibition" Kawanabe Kyosai Memorial Museum (Saitama), 2003 "American Effects: A Global Perspective on the United States 1990-2003" Whitney Museum of Art (New York, United States), 2010 "17th Sydney Biennale" (Sydney, Australia). www3.ocn.ne.jp/~tenmyoya/
