■Tsuguya Inoue x Michihiko Yanai
Tsuguya Inoue, an art director who has been involved in numerous advertising expressions for Parco, which is said to have been created with copywriters Shigesatou Itoi and Takashi Nakahata in the 1980s with Chuck Berry and James Brown as subjects. Michihiko Yanai has been attracting attention since the 2000s for Parco's season image, open announcements, and advertising expressions such as "LOVE HUMAN" campaign visuals. Unloved collaboration by the huge head of the advertising world that transcends generations is realized. A number of graphic works created by Tsuguya Inoue for this project will be developed along with the words of Michihiko Yanai. The theme of "Brother Sun, Sister Moon" will be exhibited as a poster, a traditional advertising expression that has continued since the opening of Parco.
■Harumi Yamaguchi x Ryosuke Uehara
Harumi Yamaguchi, who has worked on illustrations of Ikebukuro PARCO's founding visuals in 1969, and has since been a woman as a subject using the technique of airbrush, has been popular for many advertising poster art works by Parco Soseiki, and Tokyo ADC Award, JAGDA Award, as well as a number of award-winning works at Japanese and international design awards such as NY ADC GOLD. In 1977, Harumi Yamaguchi drew as Parco's summer visual, and Ryosuke Uehara reconstructs the work "Pool", which is also stored in MoMA in New York, using a unique expression method called dot seals.
■Mika Ninagawa x Team Lab
Mika Ninagawa, a photographer who has held more than 80 exhibitions in Japan and overseas, including a photo exhibition at the Parco Gallery, which recorded phenomenal mobilization. In recent years, he has been active in a wide range of genres, including video, such as director of Parco-funded films "Sakuran" and "Helter Sculptor" and direction of various music videos. "teamLabCamera (Team Lab Camera)" is a collaboration with various motifs taken by Mika Ninagawa and the space design and signage of the shop "Pyuruko" opened in Shibuya Parco in 2012. ■Keiichi Tanaami x Keiji Ito
Keiichi Tanaami has been actively engaged in a wide range of activities, including publishing animations and experimental films, as well as design and illustration, while crossing the boundaries of media and genres since the 1960s. Keiichi Tanaami, who is deeply involved in Parco by screening video works at the Seibu Theater (currently the Parco Theater) and writing in the legendary subculture magazine "Bicri House" published by Parco Publishing, and Keiji Ito, who also worked on solo exhibitions at the Parco Gallery and advertising for Parco, realized an unimaginable collaboration. We will present the latest works only for this project, in which two people have accumulated new collages in collage works created by Keiichi Tanaami, who have been out of the gate for 40 years and have never seen anyone.
■Elly Omiya x Masashi Asada
Elly Omiya, who has been active in scriptwriters, copywriters, film directors and borderless, has been impressed and courageous to the people who visited the Parco Museum at the venue, in a new frontier of "experience-based" exhibitions with sculpture and language installations. The whole family, including himself, dressed as firefighters, rock bands, ramen shop clerks, etc., won the 34th Ihee Kimura Photography Award in the photo book "Asada Family", which photographed "ultimate family photos". ■Keiichi Tanaami (Artist)
Born in Tokyo in 1936. Graduated from Musashino Art University. Since the 1960s, he has been involved in a wide range of animation, experimental films, paintings, and sculptures, as well as commercial art such as design and illustration, transcending the boundaries of media and genres, and has greatly influenced young artists around the world as a pioneer in modern variable artist images.
In the 1960s, he produced a Japanese version of the album jacket of the legendary rock band "Monkees" (Piss, Aquarius, Capricorn & Jones Ltd, 1967) and "Jeferson Airplane" (After Bathing At Baxters, 1967), which is also highly regarded as a representative work of psychedelic art.
