Elly Omiya "Living" Exhibition
Elly Omiya is active in a wide range of borderless and titleless roles, including film directors, film directors, directors, screenwriters, copywriters, writers, and radio personality.
The "Conveying Thoughts" exhibition held in various places, including Shibuya Parco in 2012, created a new frontier of "experience-type" exhibitions with sculpture and language installations, and became popular with Twitter and other word of mouth, attracting 12,000 visitors. It was an exhibition that brought a lot of excitement and courage to visitors.

This exhibition is an experiential language and modeling installation that will allow you to consider the fact that you live. This time, walking is a meaningful content. The theme is "thanks" and "joys" that you feel while you live, and "gifts" in the sense that you have and are given.

The venue consists of an interactive installation originally created for this exhibition and an interactive installation that encompasses five conditions, including "walking," "Iwayama," "empty," "testing," and "paradise," with the theme of "creating" that can be obtained through walking, comparing life to the path.

I'm making a wonderful book that can only be obtained at the venue! ※Released in early February
To commemorate the holding of the solo exhibition, we have created an original book for the "Living" exhibition, which will be sold only at the exhibition hall!
The binding was designed by groovisions, a design group that performs a wide variety of designs, including graphic movie products, which works on visual design for exhibitions following the previous exhibition.
And the illustrations were drawn by Elly Omiya himself.
It was such a warm book that I wanted to keep it at hand for a long time, sometimes I want to remember and read it back.
What are the worrisome contents of the book "Being alive"?

A total of 38 poems. All the characters that flowed as images in the solo exhibition are also included.
You can read along the path in the same order as the solo exhibition.
The release is scheduled for early February, and reservations will be made until the release. If you would like to make a reservation, please contact the cash register staff.
The music in the venue, which envelops the installation, is "Ryuichi Sakamoto"
The theme song for the venue has been decided to be Ryuichi Sakamoto's "Happyend"!

Last time, it was about communication that conveys thoughts.
About what is born between someone and someone. This time, we will explore the relationship between the inner surface and the outside world. What does it mean to live? Why is the deceased alive? How do you live? What do you live for? While thinking about them, I hope that in the end, something like a grain of joy will come down to each person who came. I hope it will be an exhibition where you can leave your heart feeling that living is something deeply emotional ...
It is an exhibition where you can easily and objectively look at the fact that you are living while walking on that path, like life as a path. Somehow it's spicy, you can't see the tip, or you want to find something but can't find it. It is a world of anxiety, but I hope that it will be an opportunity to consider the real feeling of living and joy in it, and to make it easier to feel them. This time, it will be an installation of modeling and language, but I think it will be a completely different "experience type" from the previous one. Please look forward to it.

Omiya Elly
Film director, screenwriter, writer, director, CM planner
Born in Osaka in 1975. After working for an advertising agency, he became independent in 2006. The movie "The Story of the Sea." Debuted as a film director. He has written and directed the serial TV dramas "Room Of King", "The Watari Restaurant", "Kinoshita and I", and the stage "GOD DOCTOR" and "SINGER5 (DVD is on sale well).
His main books include "Living Cont" and "Living Cont 2" (Bungei Shunju), picture book "Gumi Tosako-san" (picture: Ryoji Arai), and recently mobilized 10,000 people in Shibuya and 4,000 people in Kyoto and Sapporo. This is also a collection of photographs of his solo exhibition, published by Bungei ShunjuIL.
