In 2012, we will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the broadcast of the TV series "Super Space-Time Fortress Macros", the first film of the Macros series.
Also, 2012 is the year of the evolution of the first long-haul migration fleet, Megaroad 01, in Macros' world chronology.

【MACROSS:THE DESIGN】 This exhibition, called "Macros Series", divides the history of the 30th anniversary of the "Macros Series" into various parts, focusing on the settings, original drawings, videos, cells, and other materials at the time.

We will exhibit a number of exhibits that can only be seen at the venue, such as valuable materials at the time, Val Killy produced by director Shoji Kawamori in blocks, and collaboration illustrations with creators active on the front line.

It is full of gimmicks that can be enjoyed in addition to exhibitions, such as the reproduction of the album (almost) of the ending of "Super Space-Time Fortress Macros" and the shooting corner of the life-size area.

Of course, we will also sell limited products.

Contents of the exhibition

According to the chronology of the Macros world, 2012 is also the year of the first long-haul migration convoy, Megalord 01. As the introduction part of the exhibition, I would like you to look back on the Macros series along with the image of aboard Megalord 01.

■Part 1 People, Life and Culture
Character design and urban design in the Macros building will be exhibited at the time, original drawings, etc. We will also talk about the living space unique to immigrant ships and the unique culture such as the Zentradi language.

■Part 2: Poems
Each diva of the Macros series is displayed together with large-scale images and original drawings. Flashback Live original drawings of the Minmei Concert scene of 2012 will be exhibited.

■Part 3 Mechanic Design
Introducing mechanical art such as Bal Killy and Death Toroid by setting etc. The Bar Killy Block model produced by Director Kawamori will also be exhibited for the first time in Japan.

■Macros creator collaboration
Creators who are active at the forefront will draw their passion for "Macros" and display their original drawings.
