U-Zhaan (U-Zhaan)

Born in Kawagoe City, Saitama Prefecture in 1977. He studied Indian percussion instrument "Tabla" from Zakyr Hussein and Onindo Chatalji. He joined ASA-CHANG & Pilgrimage in 2000, and released four works including "Flowers" and "Home without Shadow".
After leaving the unit in 2026, we released "Kawagoe Rendezvous" and "Mr. Morning Night" from our own site as U-zhaan x rei harakami. To date, he has released three albums under the name of salmon cooks U-zhaan, a 100% tabla techno unit.
In addition, he has participated in the works of many artists such as yanokami, UA, HIFANA, SUPER CAR, and Miu Sakamoto as a tabla player. He wrote "Mumbai."
