It's not just a nostalgia. An exhibition where you can enjoy Rajikase and its culture.
"Radikase."
Its heavy and large box is packed with analog appeal.
The fashion trend has also greatly influenced the background of the popularization of Rajikase, born in Japan, not only in Japan but also overseas.
Popular and compact design for women in 80'S fashion has appeared in Japan, and in New York, the big-scale "Rajikase" has become a symbol of hip-hop as part of fashion. It is said that "Radioxe", a portable and closer home appliance that reflects lifestyles and fashion, and its designs have become diverse.
Junichi Matsuzaki, one of Japan's best radio cassette recorders and home appliance collectors, navigate the diversity of designs of Rajikase, a borderless home appliance in both places and generations, and the culture born from it. With cassette tapes and record boards showing the excitement of analog regression, Rajikase is attracting attention not only as a nostalgic but also as a new access tool.
In addition, it has been 50 years since the first cassette tape was released in Japan, and the popularity of cassette tapes has revived along with radio cassette tapes.
Rajikase is fresh for the younger generation and shares empathy and experience with the bubble generation.
In this exhibition, we will not only introduce the design of "Rajikase", but also introduce the appeal of cassette tapes, radios, and the culture behind them.

At the Paszabaton Omotesando store, he holds the "Junichi Matsuzaki Exhibition TOKYO SAMPLING" exhibition that analog recording modern times and preserves the future, cooperates with displays at "Hermes", "Conran Shop" and others, NHK drama "Made in Japan", morning serial drama "To To Ane-chan" and many other programs.
