NEWVIEW EXHIBITION 2018
"NEWVIEW AWRD 2018" is an open call for VR content in the fields of fashion, culture, and art from all over the world.
We will hold an exhibition where you can experience VR experiences the works of up-and-coming creators created by the NEWVIEW project, focusing on finalists selected from a total of 219 entries from 7 countries.

NEWVIEW EXHIBITION SPECIAL TALK＆DJ LIVE
Focusing on the review of finalist works, we will hold a talk & DJ event that talks about the "future possibilities" of 3D spatial expression. Performed by VIDEOTAPEMUSIC, who created the first VR work in the NEWVIEW project, Ryu Tsuruoka (LUVRAW), a music writer with a high interest in VR, and God Spopion, a media artist (honorific title omitted). Takashi Ando, editor in charge of the curation of the NEWVIEW project, will serve as a moderator for the talk.

God scorpion/media artist
Born in 1990. Shibuya, belongs to Psychic VR Lab. Media artist. He created works with laboratories and teams on the theme of changes in magic, technology, time axis, and space axis frames.
The main work was "Stricker" adopted by the Agency for Cultural Affairs Young Creator Development Project in 2014. DJVR space jockey "Spatial Jockey" is a VR spiritual work "NOWHERE TEMPLE Beta" in collaboration with Tokyo Litual, Bangi Abdul. An experimental project/community that pioneers new creative expression and design of experiences in 3D space.
With the aim of discovering, nurturing, and interacting with the next generation of VR creators, we have been working together with creators who embody culture in urban spaces, such as fashion, music, video, graphics, and illustrations, to design the next generation of culture/lifestyle experiences that transcend real and fantasy.
NEWVIEW AWARDS 2018
The joint project "NEWVIEW (New View)" by Parco Co., Ltd., Loftwork Co., Ltd., and Psychic VR Lab Co., Ltd. announced 19 finalists of the VR content award "NEWVIEW AWARDS 2018".
This award is an open call for VR content in the fields of fashion, culture, and art from all over the world.
Under the theme of "Design Super Experience", during the recruitment period from June 1 to July 31, 2018, a total of 219 entries were submitted from 7 countries, and after examination by the secretariat, 19 works were selected as finalists.
Final screening results such as Grand Prix will be announced in early October 2018.
The winners of the 20,000 USD Grand Prix and the final screening results of each award winner will be announced in early October 2018. The final screening will be conducted by luxurious judges from Japan and abroad, including David Olyley (artist), m-flo (produced), Gavin Ito (editer), Hideki Matsutake (musician, synthesizer programmer).
