Masayoshi Sukita Photo Exhibition "Bracking x Life"
We will hold a photo exhibition by photographer Masayoshi Sukita, "Masayoshi Sukita Photo Exhibition" Bicycle Racing x (Kake) Life ".
Masayoshi Sukita, a world-renowned photographer who has worked on portraits and advertisements for many celebrities such as David Bowie and YMO, and continues to be active at the forefront across genres and borders.
In 1979, he photographed Kenji Sawada, who was appointed as a corporate advertisement for PARCO, and in 2012, he held a photo exhibition "Kirei" that toured PARCO nationwide, starting with Shibuya PARCO.
This time, Mr. Souda chose "bicycle race" as the subject.
This exhibition originated from the photo book "Bicycle Racing x Life" (Parco Publishing, released in September 2015), which was directed by Michihiko Yanai, the director of the TV commercial "Bicycle Racing x Life", and composed mainly of the works recorded in the collection. It is a content where you can see the fine colors and textures up close, which Mr. Sukita was most particular about when making the photo book. In addition, to commemorate the holding of this exhibition, various events will be held during the exhibition.

Masayoshi Sukita (Masayoshi Sukita)
Born in Fukuoka Prefecture in 1938. After graduating from Japan College of Photography, he studied under Shisui Tanahashi.
After working as an advertising agency Daihiro, he moved to Tokyo in 1965 and joined Delta Mond.
I mainly work in men's fashion. Received APA and ADC in the 1960s.
He learned of Woodstock's concert in 1969 and has since become a subculture.
He became interested and went to New York and London to shoot.
I have been working on advertising, music, movies, etc.
It was held at the Brooklyn Museum in 2009.
Participated in the photo exhibition "Who Shot Rock & Roll".
In 2012, a photo book "BOWIE x SUKITA Speed of Life" was released from U.K. Genesis Publishing Co., Ltd. In August 2012, starting with the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography and the Shibuya Parco Museum, he held a photo "sound & vision / clean" in Fukuoka, Osaka and Maizuru.
Since 2013, he has participated in the exhibition "David Bowie Is" organized by the Victoria & Albert Museum in the UK. Participated in the "David Bowie Photo Exhibition" world tour individually.
In July 2015, Masayoshi Sukita Photo Exhibition "Flashback" was held at Hakone Open-Air Art Museum.
On November 12, 2015, David Bowie Photo Exhibition will be held at Morrison Hotel Gallery in New York.
