Introduction of works
A Japanese anime work released from 2000 to 2001 by the production of Gainax Corporation and Production I.G Corporation as a total of six OVAs. This work, which has a free and experimental style, has influenced not only anime fans but also various creators. The popularity has not faded even after 18 years, and its popularity has been strong not only in Japan but also overseas. In 2016, IG and the United States Adult Swim will jointly produce a sequel to "Furikuri". The broadcast time in the United States is scheduled to be around spring 2018, with a total of 12 episodes.
In Japan, it will be screened as theater animations by 2018 under the titles of "Frikuriortana" and "Frikuriprogre".
