Contents of the exhibition

As a commemorative project for the first anniversary of the Parco Museum, we will hold a photo exhibition by Mika Ninagawa, a young female photographer who attracts what you see from its unique color. This time, the theme she chose was "goldfish." "Goldfish" is colorful, artificial, cute but somewhat poisonous. "Goldfish" that makes you feel nostalgic and fun but is somewhat poisonous. For this exhibition, we will release the appearance of such "goldfish" that she has been collecting not only in Japan but also in Hong Kong and China. This time, the first video work at the exhibition was also released. And the latest photo book "Liquid" published by Eddie Sion Treville.
"Dreams" will be sold in advance at the venue.
Don't miss the big show, the biggest highlight this fall!

Goldfish is not a wild fish.
Creatures created and malformed crucian carp mutations by repeating artificial crossing and selection to meet human preferences.
Shortened deformation, adhesion degenerated skeleton.
It is too long or too short for fish.
The back fin that lacks degeneration.
It seems that the longer the goldfish in a strange shape far from the original figure, the shorter the life expectancy.
What a deep thing about human greed?
At first, I was attracted to the cuteness of the appearance and the luster of its color.
When you look at the lovely figure floating in the water comfortably, you feel somewhat soft.
A symbol of happiness.
Creatures that have been improved for human appreciation.
The figure swims happily.
Why are you so attracted to goldfish?
Apparently, the beauty of the color of the goldfish is not only captivating me.
Rather, I am attracted to the unnatural appearance as an organism that has been twisted.
My obsession was selfless.
Maybe it's even a twisted feeling that the goldfish may be more pitiful.
No matter what I think, there is nothing to do with the goldfish.
Surely they will be able to eat rice every day, without danger, and happy.
It might be a person's arrogance to think about such things.
Mika Ninagawa
