Contents of the exhibition
In recent years, when photographic expressions in fashion magazines have become invisible and fresh, illustrations have become a major movement that symbolizes 2003, with special features incorporating illustrations in fashion magazines in various countries being organized.
At the Parco Museum, in conjunction with the illustration book of the same name, which is scheduled to be published by Little More this fall, an exhibition will be held to present new possibilities for illustration as post-photography. The latest illustrations beyond photos and paintings will be exhibited at once. All of the works / artists of the hyper-cutting edge line-up must-see! Workshops and talk shows by participating creators will also be held. |

In 2003, the emergence of novel illustrations and images that appear simultaneously from all over the world is not just a revival of illustrations.
Their new descriptiveness and creativity, most of which are based on original photographic images using computers, show a new dimension as post-photography.
In this exhibition, nine artists (groups) who are attracting attention from both inside and outside the present are displayed at once.
If you look at this diversity and dynamism as if you replace the stagnant photographic expression, you will feel the momentum as if the illustration swallows the photo.
