We will exhibit and sell mainly Japanese and Western old books and magazines from the 1920s to 1930s, as well as doujinshi, booklets, scrapbooks, posters, and paper items (direct mail, match labels, postcards). It covers a wide range of fields, including clothing, food, living, play, urban landscapes and customs, and overseas information. Through contemporary architecture, interior, advertising and promotion, graphics, art, fashion, customs, etc., we can return to the origins of Modernism and reaffirm our greatness.

Ultramodern

It is a word that is used in the sense of modernity or modern in modernity.
For short, it is simply called Ultra. Ultra means super.
From "Modern Hindu Dictionary" published in 1931

From the late 19th century to the early 20th century, many expositions and exhibitions were held in the United States and European countries as if they were competing. It was Modernism that bloomed in the flow. At the same time as modern design was established as a new style, it can be said that it has already been completed at that time. To date, many developments and experiments have been carried out, but it is said that modern design is only a repetition of variation and copy of the time.
In this exhibition, we will return to the 1920s and 1930s, which was the origin of Modernism in the 20th century, and we hope to explore the essence of Modernism by verifying fragments of books, magazines, doujinshi, booklets, scrapbooks, posters, and paper (direct mail, match labels, postcards). The clothing, food, housing, entertainment and urban scenery of the time seen in architecture, interiors, advertising and promotion, graphics, art, fashion related books and paper media are surprisingly fresh and will bring us surprise and excitement in the 21st century.
