Takeru Sato and Ryunosuke Kamiki visit and walk in search of Miyagi's food, tradition, industry, and manufacturing!
"Miyagikara," which Takeru Sato and Ryunosuke Kamiki touched on the charms of Miyagi's traditional performing arts, industry, culture, food, etc., and knitted so that they could think about the future through dialogue with local people. It is on sale from March 4th.
Through many encounters and dialogues with people rooted in the land, while touching on the various charms of the old and new places in Miyagi Prefecture, inheriting traditional performing arts and customs, creating industry and culture, and passing down memories of the earthquake disaster This book is in which Mr. Sato and Mr. Kamiki are seriously exploring and exploring the way of our lives in the future. It is a collection of visual dialogues packed with valuable photographs that capture the expressions they are, shown by the two during the journey. Part of the sales of this book will be donated to support the reconstruction of Great East Japan Earthquake.
A photo exhibition commemorating the publication of this book will be held at Sendai Parco for a limited time from 3/4 (Fri) to 3/21 (Mon).
From a number of photographs of Mr. Sato and Mr. Kamiki taken during the interview of "From Miyagi", carefully selected photographs, whether published or not published, are displayed. In order to allow visitors to share the "gaze" of Mr. Sato and Mr. Kamiki on the way, they will be able to produce photos taken locally and produce "Tanabata decorations" and "fossils" during the interview. You can also display items related to the things you have gained and gained, and enjoy the "experience" unique to the venue.
In addition to collaborative crafts with the designs of the two, we will also sell crafts from each of the six prefectures of Tohoku. In addition, at the venue, we will also sell "Miyagikara" with a photo exhibition venue original cover & card-type bookmark that is different from the normal version.
Part of the proceeds from the book and photo exhibitions will be donated to help Great East Japan Earthquake recover.
