The drama being broadcast on TV Tokyo series "What did you eat yesterday?" (Original: Fumiyoshi Yoshinaga and Kodansha's "Morning") is a warm, gentle, and sometimes bittersweet life through the dining table of male couples of Shiro Kakei (Shiro) played by Hidetoshi Nishijima and Kenji Yabuki (Kenji) played by Masaaki Uchino. It is a drama that draws the subtleties of life this season.
"What did you eat yesterday?" was held at Shibuya Gallery X by Parco in June along with the drama broadcast. At the exhibition, we reproduced the stage set of dramas, props, scene photos, reproductions of original comics, original reproductions of original comics, and limited original goods unique to the exhibition were sold.
The contents of the drama and the original world view intersect, and advance tickets are sold out all day in a small space. They also traveled to Nagoya and Osaka, mobilized about 36,000 people at three locations. After that, at Ikebukuro PARCO's collaboration cafe "THE GUEST", "What did you eat yesterday?" The rice shop was also held, and it was a big movement, such as creating a line every day.
Meanwhile, I received a lot of voices wishing for a drama sequel, and on January 1, 2020 (New Year's Day), the drama "What did you eat yesterday?" The broadcast of New Year Special 2020 will be decided! On the day of the release, the popularity of the drama series has not declined, as it became a hot topic on the Internet news and SNS, and it was decided to rebroadcast once on the first day of the drama series.
In commemoration of the former Nittoku broadcast of the drama, this exhibition toured three cities, "What did you eat yesterday?" It will be held as a complete version with the elements of the New Year's special edition to the exhibition!
There is also a sale of new limited goods, so it is a space where you can enjoy not only those who missed the previous exhibition but also no matter how many times you visit.
In a space where the world view of the drama and the original is three-dimensional, it is such an exhibition where the daily lives of Shiro and Kenji intersect with their daily lives, and when they leave the venue, they are hungry.
