Fukuoka PARCO (2-11-1 Tenjin, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture) is a limited-time event "BOOK MEETS FUKUOKA" where publishers and bookstores from all over the country open from October 25 (Fri) to November 10 (Sun), 2024, and various books gather. Will be held.
Book event "Book Oka" from Fukuoka and Book Scubrick will organize and create a "place where books and readers can meet happiness". It is an event that can be enjoyed not only by those who like books but also by those who do not.
Books selected by about 30 unique small publishers and six independent bookstores that have a unique charm in Fukuoka Prefecture will go through one hall.
In addition, there will be a corner where book lovers' "Super Oshimoto" line up, a used book market for business trips, a mini picture book carnival, and a talk event by writer Kudoren.

A mini-corner of "picture book carnival" presided over by Minoru Meguro, who has served as a professor at Kyushu University and Kyoto University of the Arts, appears. The theme this time is Miyazawa Kenji. There are many Kenji picture books drawn by various picture book writers of different generations.

He was a candidate for the 165th Akutagawa Prize in his first medium novel, "The Voice of the Icicle" (Kodansha). Currently, there are many serials in Kodansha's "Group Statue" as well as the essay "Sunday Met".
