Siege Machine SAC_2045 EXHIBITION “In The Shell”

An offensive organization led by Syborg Kusanagi, a systemic body that confronts brain crimes in the near future when people's intentions were connected to "electric brains" due to the development of information networks and cyborg (righteous body) technology.
In 1989, Masamune Shiro published the original manga in "Young Magazine Increased Pirate Edition" (Kodansha), and since the serialization started, it has composed a variety of works such as animation and Hollywood live-action movies, and has continued to give surprise and stimulus around the world.
A collection of works by Ilya Kuvshinov (Ilya Kubushinob), who designed the character at PARCO Publishing, commemorating the exclusive distribution of Season2 of the latest full 3DCG animation in history, on Netflix from May 23 (Monday).

In addition, a limited time period from June 3rd (Fri) to June 20th (Mon), Shibuya PARCO will hold an exhibition "In The Shell", which will be held at Shibuya PARCO to exhibit VR and sell original goods.
The production direction of the venue will be handled by maxilla, a creative agency based in Tokyo.

In collaboration with "NEW VIEW", an experimental project/community that pioneers new creative expression and design of experiences in 3D space, VR will be exhibited by 0b4k3 who won PARCO PRIZE at NEWVIEW AWARDS 2020.

A variety of works, including animations and Hollywood live-action films, were developed, originating from the original comic "Gusher Machine Corps THE GHOST IN THE SHELL" released by Masamune Shiro in 1989, and their cutting-edge and overwhelming worldview and visual expression, will present a new future image.
Kenji Kamiyama of the "Science Machine Corps S.A.C." series and Nobushi Aramaki of the "APPLESEED" series teamed up as co-directors, and Atsuko Tanaka, Akio Otsuka, Koichi Yamadera and other original casts of the "S.A.C." series are gathered. It depicts a powerful cyberpunk action and a completely new story of Motoko Kusanagi.
