「MELODY」
In commemoration of the completion of the new art book "MELODY" ( PARCO Publishing)
We will announce about 30 new works at PARCO MUSEUM TOKYO.
Recently, I started working on a big work.
I drew a small work of a bear lying on a banana that I drew last year.
I came to want to draw a life-size motif by stretching it greatly.
Since the production of the work "Melody", which also became the cover of the art book, has been created.
The bold and stretchy brush touch that can be made possible by a major work.
It is possessed by the feeling of being gently wrapped in a large canvas.
In many years of childcare life, I set up an easel near the window of the living room.
I continued to draw mainly on objects that fit in both hands in the house and inner motifs.
That was the day when I was forced to stay home during the COVID-19 pandemic.
I came to be moved by the casual scenery of the four seasons that are the same as usual.
The calm daily life seems mediocre and very lovely,
But I realized that it was not absolute.
One day, the object I draw is landscape and landscape.
It is a combination of stretched motifs.
I became interested in the connection between inside and outside.
In the past year and a little bit
I think my work has changed quite a bit.
We hope that customers who are always looking forward to the announcement of new works will enjoy the "MELODY" exhibition and enjoy it.
