Comments from Tom
I am so excited to bring to life my journey of knitting and fibre work. Knitting has become a huge part of my life and mindful practice, allowing me to get the best out of myself. I want to share that creative joy and mindful practice with as many people as possible. This exhibition at the Parco museum Tokyo is an accumulation of many of my favorite pieces, in addition to showcasing my Olympic medals.
I am very happy that the journey of my heart through manufacturing with knitting and wool will take shape.
Knitting is an important element of life for me and it calms my mind.
And it's something that brings out yourself to the fullest.
Through this exhibition, I would like to share with as many people as possible the joy of manufacturing and the comfort that knitting brings to my heart. The exhibition collects a lot of my favorite works and also displays Olympic gold medals.

Every year, Parco holds a culture festival of diversity and inclusiveness, "Aito Aoi", and has collaborated with artists who overcome the barriers of common sense and expression with their own sensibility. This time, I am very pleased to be able to hold an exhibition introducing the knit work of Tom Dali, a global athlete and knit artist.
A knit is a highly flexible expression that allows you to create various shapes by tying or unwinding a single thread. You can also unravel the finished work and reknit it into another form. Through the freedom of the expression of knitting, I hope you will feel the gentle creation of Tom Dali, who continues to challenge while having fun in the field of creation without fear of failure.
