CHALKAK MAGAZINE EXHIBITION 「NEW ASIAN PHOTOGRAPHY & SEOUL VIBE」

We will hold Japan's first exhibition by CHALKAK MAGAZINE, a photo magazine born in Seoul, Korea, the most hottest Asian city, will be held at Shibuya PARCO. Young Asian photographers who create new movements in the expression of photography that changes with the times. Through their works that grew up in diverse cultural spheres and have diverse backgrounds, we will consider what photography is now and in the future.
In this exhibition, photographic works by 15 artists who have been introduced in "CHALKAK MAGAZINE" will be exhibited. The lineup includes Kim Moon Dog, which attracts attention in the fashion scene in Seoul, painter Han Jihyun, who creates new expressions using digital materials, and Li Yushi, who asks questions about gender relativity.
From Japan, photographers Masumi Ishida, Kohei Kawatani, Peace Kimura, and Yoko Kusano, who are active in the fields of art and fashion, also participated.
In addition, we will introduce life logs focusing on 10 directors who lead the culture of Seoul. Day and nightlife spent by Ryu Doyon, editor-in-chief of MAPS MAGAZINE, graphic design studio ORDINARY PEOPLE in Seoul, and Kan Jisok, visual director of apparel brand ADDER ERROR. Before SNS, you can get a glimpse of the everyday life of Seoul, which is full of immersiveness, from snapshots taken using the instant camera "Sharan" from Japan, which attracted photos to familiar people.
Please experience the various photographic expressions knitted from the perspective of Seoul at the venue.

【EXHIBITION】 PART2
An exhibition of lifestyle photographs (life logs) and artwork by 10 directors who lead the culture of Seoul, Korea, including illustrators, models, art directors, and musicians.
You can get a glimpse of the daily life of Seoul, which is full of realism, from snapshots of Day & Night Life taken by each director using a disposable camera (sharun).
