CHALKAK MAGAZINE EXHIBITION「NEW ASIAN PHOTOGRAPHY & SEOUL VIBE」

We will hold Japan's first exhibition at Shibuya PARCO by the photo magazine "CHALKAK MAGAZINE", a photo magazine born in Seoul, Korea, the most hot Asian city. Young Asian photographers create new movements in the expression of photography that changes with the times. Through their work, which grew up in diverse cultural spheres and diverse backgrounds, we will consider what "photos" are now and in the future.
In this exhibition, photo works by 15 artists introduced in "CHALKAK MAGAZINE" will be exhibited. The lineup includes Kim Moon Dog, which is attracting attention in the fashion scene in Seoul, Han Jihyeon, who creates new expressions using digital materials, and Li Yushi, who asks questions about gender relativeity.
From Japan, photographers who are active in the field of art and fashion, Masumi Ishida, Kohei Kawatani, Heiwa Kimura and Yoko Kusano participate.
In addition, we will introduce a life log focusing on the 10 directors who drive Seoul culture. Day & Night Life spent by Ryu Doyon, editor-in-chief of MAGAZINE, graphic design studio ORDINARY PEOPLE in Seoul, and Kan Zisok, visual director at the apparel brand ADDER HANN. Before SNS, you can get a glimpse of the everyday life of Seoul, which is full of immersiveness from snapshots taken using Japan's instant camera "Sharun" that attracted photos to familiar presence.
Please experience the various photo expressions woven from Seoul's perspective at the venue.

Lifestyle photos (life logs) and art work by 10 directors who lead the culture of Korea and Seoul, Korea, including illustrators, models, art directors, and musicians.
You can get a glimpse of the everyday life of Seoul, from the snapshot of Day & Nightlife taken by each director using a disposable camera (Sharun).
