"BIOTOPE" exhibition "WELCOME TO BIOTOPIA" will be held at PARCO MUSEUM TOKYO (Shibuya PARCO 4F) at Europe's largest fashion competition ITS (International Talent Support) and won the artwork category finalist double nomination as a finalist in the fashion and artwork category.
Based on the concept of Wearable Toy (toys that can be worn), BIOTOPE is a two-person unit that expands empathy beyond age, gender, and any position, and is developing a dressy and peaceful "wear (clothing & accessory)" created by a combination of colorful parts.
In this exhibition "WELCOME TO BIOTOPIA", BIOTOPE presents the whole picture of its playful world for the first time.
At PARCO MUSEUM TOKYO, visitors will be able to experience the world of BIOTOPIA, a paradise-like archipelago where colorful characters created by BIOTOPE gather, and collaborate with BIOTOPE's showpieces, art pieces derived from them, and creators who sympathized with the world view of BIOTOPE are scattered like an island space.
In addition, we will sell lifestyle products such as toys, miscellaneous goods and furniture that make up the details of the above works in the world, as well as goods that are equipped with various sovenias.

Workshop UPTOYOU
A workshop will be held on Sunday, June 11 during the exhibition period.
At the workshop, you will select 3 colors from 16 types of elements on the T-shirt prepared in advance and print it on the T-shirt.
※Time required: 1.5 hours to 2 hours each time
※On the day, it will be printed on silk screen using ink, so clothes may become dirty. Please bring aprons and other items. (There is no rental of aprons.)

Contents of the exhibition
Motojima, the center of the archipelago world BIOTOPIA, will be used as PARCO MUSEUM TOKYO to view the surrounding islands, creating an exhibition space with organic migratory properties.
The eight Wearable Toy look, which will be displayed in a way that makes use of each character, will welcome visitors as the main cast of BIOTOPIA.
The exhibition of "inflatables (*) chairs" and "inflatable bags" including the "floating rings" that color the beach, and the world view of the island with graphics using natural motifs, and high praise for ITS In addition to the upgraded version of the artwork works, we will also develop special exhibition fixtures (product racks, hanger racks) that can be purchased.

Collaboration
This exhibition welcomes collaborators from various genres.
WATARU TOMINAGA, who has been selected as a semifinalist for LVMH Prize 2023 and has attracted worldwide attention, participated in the production of inflatable chairs, SHOKKI (ceramic work), Hanako Kato (original furniture), Kama Yamakawa (painting), Suzuri Sato (ARIA Filter), and Akira Sato (techniquet) and Umito (suppose).
In addition, Keisuke Iiri, a singer-songwriter / producer of Le Makeup who jumps out of the Kansai music scene and is active in the world, will work on the original venue BGM of this exhibition.
In addition, the above-mentioned original fixtures, inflatable chairs, and ceramic works will be pre-ordered by delivery after the exhibition.
Goods
At the venue, BIOTOPE original goods such as T-shirts, inflatable bags, floats, and Attachment figures will be sold as a souvenir of "BIOTOPIA" where you can take home.

Artist profile
BIOTOPE is a unit composed of Yudai Tanaka (born in Ibaraki Prefecture, 1992) and Anna Tanaka (born in Kanagawa Prefecture, 1991). He is active in the fields of art direction, graphic design, and fashion design, centering on a playful world view. In 2022, he became the finalist in the ITS (International Talent Support) fashion and artwork category and won the ITS Artwork Award powered by Swatch Art Peace Hotel (Artwork category Grand Prix).
