We will hold the first exhibition "human product" in Japan by Spanish artist filip custic (Philip Kustic). This exhibition explores the existence of human beings, the ability to update themselves as an operating system, and the tendency to create complex systems that make sense to life. We will announce the newly created works in conjunction with the event at PARCO MUSEUM TOKYO. On April 21st (Fri), a live performance of the person will be held at the venue. At the shop in the venue, we plan to sell works and sell exhibition commemorative products.

Contents of the exhibition
Philip Kusstick's first solo exhibition in Japan expresses the essence of his artistic activities through a variety of works specially created for this exhibition. Since he started his career as an artist, Philip has explored the relationship between the body, mind, and technology, and how these three elements interact to form our identity.
His work focuses on internet culture and expresses what symbolizes, forms, and ability to change through photographs, videos, sculptures, and performances.
His view of the world of art reflects a uniform, beautiful, humanistic individual, masked, processed in filters and photo shops, and visible and hidden characters behind silicon's "one more self". They are homogeneous appearances, and at the same time, they have a mysterious kindness.
In this exhibition, Philip Kusstick asks about the existence of humans, the ability to update themselves as an operating system, and the tendency to create complex systems that make sense to life. The capitalist culture stimulates artists' imagination and is linked to Philip's unique world view.
This exhibition not only displays the artist's own artistic activities, but also raises various questions about today's world.
Combining body, identity, and technology, Philip Kustic asks who we are and what kind of social model we have imposed on us to respond.
In modern society, identity, body, and humanity are combined with brands, economic models, commercial strategies, or technological transformations. In this exhibition, he plays with the identity of people and the contemporary collector culture, creating a unique character world.

PROFILE

Philip Kustic was born in Santa Cruz (Spain) on Tenerife Island in 1993. His works are exhibited all over the world, including MdbK Leipzig (Germany), Palazzo Giustinian Lolin in Venezia (Italy), Colección SOLO (Madrid, Spain), Art Basel Miami (United States), Caixaforum (Barcelona, Spain), and OMM (Turkey).
He has also collaborated with world-renowned singers such as Rosalía and Lil Nas X.
Since 2022, Philip Custick has been working as a member of Onkaos, an art support program for SOLO.
In 2023, Philip Kustic, in collaboration with Onkaos, an art support program at Colección SOLO, an international contemporary art hub located in Madrid, Spain, held Japan's first solo exhibition at PARCO MUSEUM TOKYO.
What is Colección SOLO:
Colección SOLO is an international art project based in Spain that aims to foster, support and share today's artwork.
Colección SOLO aims to create dialogue and experimentation in the field of art. Colección SOLO organizes various art support projects for artists and showcases the collection's collection through a special exhibition held at the museum called Espacio SOLO, which owns them.
Designed by Juan Helelos and awarded the Madrid Architects Association Award in 2018, Espacio SOLO is located in Puerta de Alcara, Madrid. Guided tours are free by appointment, and advance reservations are available at www.coleccionsolo.com.
