EVISEN SKATEBOARDS and art director Tetsuya Nagato will hold the first EXHIBITION "Emotodoko-EVIHONDOKO-".
In addition to collaborating with SEIKO and adidas Skateboarding, in addition to developing products that incorporate graphics using ancient Japanese traditions and culture and works of related artists, "EVISEN SKATEBOARDS" is now highly regarded as one of Japan's leading skate companies, with unique members from Japan and overseas being named among the skateboarders.
Tetsuya Nagato has been active in the fields of music, fashion, and art since the late 1990s, and has been involved in the direction of fashion brands as a top artist in Japan.
This project is the first exhibition set up by both people who are familiar with culture, and the history of collaboration in the past is an avant-garde exhibition that incorporates the chemical reaction of thought and ideas that has become even more mature than before.
Attention is paid to the efforts of Dafen OilPainting Village (Dafen OilPainting Village), which is known as a village that makes "feiting" of all kinds of oil paintings in the world in Shenzhen, China. The graphic that became the skate deck of EVISEN SKATEBOARDS, including the design designed by Tetsuya Nagato, will be manually copied and produced by the villagers and exhibited at the venue.
The completed work is not an original but a copy, but it is also a genuine one that can be produced infinitely created by the fake village. What is the legitimate value of that insensible oil painting?
The answer will be revealed at the venue.
In addition, there will be sales of apparel goods of TETSUYA NAGATO x EVISEN SKATEBOARDS to commemorate the event, as well as skateboarding x phonograph DJ events on the lamp set up in the venue during the exhibition.

EVISEN SKATEBOARDS
Born in Tokyo in 2011. Released a number of products incorporating graphics and artwork using Japanese traditions and culture. It quickly attracted attention and has already become one of the best skate brands in Japan. Not only decks but also apparel are being developed to excite the Japanese skateboarding scene.
Tetsuya Nagato
Born in Tokyo in 1970 and moved to the United States after graduating from high school, and since 1996 after returning to Japan, advertising, package design, music videos, documentary videos, etc. He is directed in the fields of music, fashion, and art. RADWIMPS, Genshi Yonezu, Southern All Stars, UA, Yosica, TK from Rinshi, jacket design such as 5lack, and MV direction, collaboration with EVISEN SKATEBOARDS, NIKE x UNDERCOVER "GYAKUSOU", "THE NORTH FORACE x Kuraishi", etc. At the same time, he has produced collages, photographs, and video works, and has continued to present at solo and group exhibitions. Received the 6th Japan Media Arts Festival Digital Art Excellence Award in 2003. Tokyo Wonderwall Open Call 2003 Wonderwall Award. In 2012, he was selected as a work recommended by the Jury Committee of the 15th Japan Media Arts Festival.
