Since the release of Godzilla, the first work in 1954, a total of 35 Godzilla series has been produced and released, including 29 works in Japan, 3 animation works, and 3 works in Hollywood versions. And the 70th anniversary work of Godzilla's birth "Godzilla-1.0", which was released on November 3rd, is uninterrupted as the hit release <Godzilla>. The second "GODZILLA THE ART by PARCO vol.2" of the art project <GODZILLA THE ART> for the 70th anniversary of Godzilla's birth started in April this year has been decided.

Art Project <GODZILLA THE ART>
<GODZILLA THE ART> started as a project to celebrate the 70th anniversary of birth in 2024.
In 1954, Godzilla, the world-class icon, has shown us various expressions in the last 70 years, but they are not the same and are constantly changing. ＜GODZILLA THE ART＞ This is a project in which Japanese and foreign artists living in modern times face Godzilla in their own way beyond the boundaries of movies, and express Godzillas that they interpret.
Menji Yoro, an anatomist, was appointed as the general producer. On the official website, messages sent to the project are being published.
Participating artist
The participating artists this time are COIN PARKING DELIVERY, an artist who started creative activities in 2018 and has been collaborating with various brands since the beginning. A new generation artist who demonstrates the originality of drawing graphics using a smartphone expresses the 70th anniversary <Godzilla>.
＜GODZILLA THE ART＞ On the official website, we released an interview "GODZILLA THE ART 10 Questions", which explores how COIN PARKING DELIVERY interpreted Godzilla and expressed it in his own art. The Godzilla template was created to consider the modeling of Godzilla that appears in the first work of Godzilla series "Godzilla" (1954). At the stage of modeling study, the body was designed to be covered with scales, and it was different from the currently widely known figure of Godzilla. The Godzilla Hina dolls are exactly the origin of Godzilla.
