Born in Kumamoto Prefecture in 1999. Department of Animation, Graduate School of Film and New Media, Tokyo University of the Arts
During his undergraduate years, he worked in the oil painting department, producing paintings, animations, and installation works.
Currently, in order to create interactive video works, he creates works using game engines such as UnrealEngine, and produces almost all of his personal games such as programming, CG modeling, and animation.
I want to connect art and games.
In August 2022, he started producing Whale Fall, a game-making item.
■Ryoya Usuba
Video writer, game developer. Programming game "My Exercise" is being distributed on each platform. It also provides video to TV programs such as E-Tele "0655/2355" and "Designa". Major exhibitions include "In-A Gamesscape" ICC (Tokyo, 2018). Major screenings include "Annecy International Animation Film Festival" (France, 2019), "FILE Festival" (Brazil, 2019), "GLAS Animation Festival" (United States, 2017), "Image Forum Festival" (Tokyo, 2017).
■Kyo Kihara / Playfool
A collaborative team between Kyo Kihara and Playfool (Daniel Coppen, Saki Maruyama). Together, with the core theme of "play," the design of tools that foster creativity and art projects that intervene in society and cities in Japan and overseas. Exhibited at the Victoria & Albert Museum (London, 2022) and Als Electronica (Linz, 2023), etc. Artist Fellow at 2022 Civic Creative Base Tokyo
■Cobysoft/Joe
Cobysoft/Joe is an artist who develops the visual novel "Dome-King Cabbage" set in the world of monster collection RPGs. Originally made for game jam, this work was a small project developed by Joe, who was teaching English in Osaka, after class. Later, this work evolved into a work that transcends genres and media, and has spread to other art fields such as gallery spaces in Japan and the United States.
■Koda Fish (Koda Fish)
After working as a designer at an advertising agency for the game creator, he has been involved in game design, planning, and scenarios since around 2000. After turning to freelance, he is working to shape more personal messages and thoughts. In 2023, he developed the culmination game "OU" in collaboration with Z-Mode and room6. He is exploring multi-creative activities such as manga as well as games.
