We will hold the first solo exhibition "WRECKONIZE" by up-and-coming Korean artist WRECK. His work, which combines suspiciousness and popness, has a unique presence in the Korean street scene, and in Japan, the collaboration with YAGI EXHIBITION curated by Reiji Okamoto and the popular street brand BlackEyePatch has been attracting attention. In this exhibition, about 30 paper works drawn with airbrush will be exhibited, focusing on the works drawn this year, and graphic designer GUCCIMAZE, who has a close relationship with WRECK, is in charge of the design of the exhibition key visuals. At the venue, in addition to selling works and original exhibition goods, collaboration goods with BlackEyePatch will be sold in advance.

Profile

WRECK (Reck) Profile
Born in Seoul, Korea in 1987.
I am influenced by American comics and toys presented by my uncle in the United States from an early age. I majored in animation at university. In college, he became involved in skating and street fashion, and continued to work as a skater for 10 years, but decided to become a painter based on his sense of fatigue in the scene and his desire to paint again. Since 2021, he has been drawing every day using an airbrush that allows him to draw lines and surfaces freely, and his work has been hooked up to popular Japanese artists Reiji Okamoto and graphic designer GUCCIMAZE and others, attracting attention. Since then, the scope of activities has been expanded mainly in Japan.
From 2021 to 2022, he has expanded his range of activities by collaborating with popular fashion brands such as YAGI, UNION TOKYO, BBCICECREAM, and BLACK EYE PATCH.
