In 1986, shortly after Harvey Yamaguchi returned from London, Shibuya Parco (SR6) was held to commemorate the release of the first photo book "London After The Dream". There were many famous musicians and professional athletes at the venue, and a long line was constantly receiving a great response. It was 37 years since that day, full of enthusiasm fascinated by his photographs. An exhibition that coincides with the release of the latest collection of works by Harvey Yamaguchi, one of Japan's leading photographers and essayist, will be held again at Shibuya Parco (GALLERY X BY PARCO).
His gaze (lens) reconstructs the "moments that transcend borders, times, and generations" captured by his gaze (lens) as a "optical encounter" created by the infinite possibilities of the expression "photo", a gentle look directed toward the subject, and a clear memory. The title is a calm and hopeful message for the next generation living in an unstable and unpredictable era. Harvey Yamaguchi continues to convey the appeal of photography that converts "negatives" to "positives".

Harvey Yamaguchi
Born in Tokyo in 1950. Photographer and essayist. After graduating from university, he spent more than 10 years in London. Even after returning to Japan, he directed his cameras from domestic and foreign artists to Ichii people, and continued to shoot works using the technique of monochrome snap portraits. The theme of the photo is consistently "hope to live", and many fans prefer their neat style, and are supported by a wide range of age groups. In addition to photographs, he wrote essays, personality on radio, and wrote several songs in albums by guitarist Torayasu Hotei. Many photo exhibitions are held all over the country. There are many photo books such as "London Ater The Dream", "Photos that make people happy", "HOPE 2020 Unchanging Daily Life and Tomorrow". The latest work is a photo book "Glorious Days", which has taken the off-stage of Torayasu Hotei for 37 years.
