GALLARY X BY PARCO will hold a photo exhibition "Utopia Glowing Redly" by photographer Shiori Ikeno.

In this exhibition, 62 works, including private works taken not only by them, while Ikeno spends the same time as them, focusing on works based on band GEZAN based in Tokyo.

Since I met in 2014, Ikeno has been shooting GEZAN continuously. In addition to artist photos, jacket photos, and main visuals of the GEZAN-sponsored Zensen Festival, I have continued to cut out not only their artwork and live photos, but also their everyday appearance.

It will be a photo exhibition composed of Ikeno from the eight-year archives. Please take a look.

<writer statement>

This exhibition is a memory of GEZAN I experienced, which is not enough to talk about a band called GEZAN, and is as close as private photography as possible.

From the top of their stage to the scene of life, I think in front of a huge number of archives, how desperately pushed the shutters. Among these photographs, which can be both fantasy and documentary, the appearance on the stage burning red, the appearance of a boy rowing a bicycle, and the appearance of painting the whole body red, it is strange because they live together in a chaotic state without discomfort.

One of the attempts at this exhibition is to visualize their unique existence.

This is just the figure that was cut out in my story, and that is why I would like to call these photos utopia with hope.

Shiori Ikeno | Shiori Ikeno

Born in 1991. He started working as a photographer in 2012. In 2018, he released a photo book "Ove" from commune Press. Recently, adidas Forum 84 and Dr. He has been involved in numerous photography in Japan and overseas, including advertising visuals for Martens "CITY Pack" TOKYO model, look for MIKIOSAKABE 2021AW, and jacket photography by Aiyon.
