This exhibition expresses the charm of Gundam unique to Yuji Kaida, who has been drawing Ganpla's box paintings, which are a bridge that evokes the world of flat cell painting in reality and stirs the image of the creator of plastic models.

At the exhibition, original analog and digital drawings from "Mobile Suit Gundam" to "Mobile Suit Gundam Iron Blood Orr Fens" will fill the venue with powerful exhibitions. The works on display are drawn in each picture, along with the industrial products unique to Gundam and weapons, and the drama that is active in the war situation.

At the venue, we will sell goods commemorating the exhibition, related products, original reproductions, etc.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Mobile Suit Gundam, and this is an exhibition where you can experience the spectacular and unique Gundam works of Yuji Kaida, who has drawn a box picture of Gunpla, one of its history.

At the Ikebukuro venue, we will also hold a autograph session with autographs that attracted many fans.
It is a valuable opportunity to draw Gundam and mobile suits in front of you.
At the merchandise corner in the venue, a participation ticket will be presented to the first 25 people who purchase more than 5,000 yen on the day.

Approximately 20 original drawings carefully selected from the "SD Gundam Series" etc. will be released for the first time in Japan!

Yuji Kaida himself converted digital data from original drawings.

Popular works of "Mobile Suit Gundam 0083 Stardust Memory" will also be exhibited.
In addition, a powerful large-format exhibition of 15 favorite works selected by himself from digital works drawn over the next 20 years.
More than 40 original and digital works will be exhibited throughout the venue.
On the monitor, you can see all the digital works drawn so far.

In addition, there is a spectacular tower where the gunpowder boxes drawn by Yuji Kaida are stacked.
"Making of Hi-ν GUNDAM", which shows the process of drawing digital works.
It is a space where you can fully experience Yuji Kaida's "Gundam" artwork.

Yuji Kaida Profile

Born in Hyogo in 1953. Member of the Japan Science Fiction Writer Club.
He focuses on science fiction and fantasy illustrations for monsters and robots.
Packages of plastic models, toys, video software, game software, music software, magazines, book covers, etc.
He has worked on illustration works in a wide range of fields, including trading cards and movie posters.
Received the 28th Nebula Award (Art Division) in 1997.
Received the 24th Yubari International Film Fantastic Film Festival, Fantaland Grand Prize Citizen Award in 2014.
