Osamu Tezuka has had an immeasurable influence on Japanese culture. This year marks the 80th anniversary of his birth. For a total of two years, one year before and after the birthday on November 3, various commemorative projects will be developed during the “Osamu Tezuka's 80th Anniversary Project”. One of the highlights of this event is the exhibition "Light in the Genetic Darkness of Osamu Tezuka" to be held at Shibuya Parco Factory, which celebrates its first anniversary.
Artists active in Japan and abroad will revive Osamu Tezuka's genes through new ways of expression, with the theme of the multifacetedness, character, story, world view, expression method, and light and darkness felt by Tezuka's works.

◆Contents of the exhibition

"Light in the Darkness" consists of three sections.

1.	Original drawings and animation exhibitions of Tezuka's works, and introduction of Tezuka's works.
2.	New production of cover art for Tezuka's work, video installations, video works, etc. by more than 30 artists and designers active in Japan and abroad, including GROOVISIONS, tomato, Enlightenment, Hideki Inaba and others.
3.	A product shop space designed by participating artists.
