| About the movie "Mushishishi" |
 |
Saturday, March 24, 2007 National Road Show
─ The Japanese sleepy memory wakes up ─ |
 |
This work is a work that Director Katsuhiro Otomo has made a live-action movie for the first time in 16 years and has become a hot topic. The world of masterpiece manga works by Yuki Urushihara, a female cartoonist who sold 2.9 million copies and won the Kodansha Manga Award in 2006, has been reconstructed in a magnificent, mysterious location and collaboration with state-of-the-art VFX, has already been acclaimed at the Venice Film Festival in 2006, and its reputation and rumors are spreading worldwide.
What is shown in the video is a beautiful, deep illusion and mystery scene nurtured by the sensibilities unique to Japanese people who have coexisted with nature. And Joe Odagiri, who embodies the insect ginko, has a more mysterious expression than ever before.
Listen to a voiceless voice. They look at their eyes. Ask your heart to exist without existence. Although we are living in the present age, it is a work that has potentially always been equipped with a "other sense" and an unprecedented experience that exceeds the five senses. |
