The World Heritage Charity Art Exhibition "PIECE of PEACE - World Heritage" was held at 13 locations across Japan from October 2003 to September 2007. The charity art exhibition made from Lego Block, a toy loved around the world, made from this irreplaceable earth treasure World Heritage, was very well received by approximately 800,000 people.
And this time, we will hold the second exhibition of this art exhibition in order to receive the great response and further expand this movement!
In this second installment, the content will be further enhanced, including the number of works by the World Heritage model made by Lego block, as well as pieces of peace message art from artists active in Japan and overseas. In addition to the first models such as "Pyramid", "Angkor", "Mon-San-Michel", "Cultural Property of Ancient Kyoto", "Sagrada Familia", "Cathmandu Valley", "Brazilia", "Shuri Castle", etc. We will create earth art of 26 properties in 20 countries as art using Lego blocks.
Wouldn't it be possible to expand the fun image just by imagining?
This exhibition is designed with a special desire to back up the World Heritage activities conducted by the Japan Federation of UNESCO Associations.
Using the youth culture that will lead the next generation as a base, children and adults will be able to enjoy the "irreplaceable earth" while having a wide range of fun, and will also be used as part of education.
"PIECE of PEACE TOKYO - World Heritage Exhibition Part2 - Made with Lego®"
In such an era, I hope to expand PEACE and SMILE even more.

About the Japan Federation of UNESCO Associations
UNESCO is a specialized agency of the United Nations created by the participation of various countries around the world. In 1945, when World War II ended, it was created with the wish of "not repeating war again."
"Because war is born in the hearts of people, we must build peace in our hearts" (from the preamble of the UNESCO Charter).
In other words, every struggle starts with a small opportunity in each person's heart, so we can create a peaceful world by understanding each other.
The Japan Federation of UNESCO Associations is a private organization that sympathizes with this UNESCO philosophy and engages in UNESCO activities as volunteers at the citizen level in Japan.

About World Heritage
"World Heritage" is "Takamono" that has been carefully handed down from the past of the earth and humankind.
That is what we live today will pass on to the future.
"World Heritage" has no borders. For example, the Egyptian pyramid is not only for the Egyptians, but also for the Japanese and other people of other countries.
According to the Japan Federation of UNESCO Associations, "The Earth's Treasure: World Heritage!" In addition to raising interest in protecting and communicating the irreplaceable "World Heritage" on earth, we are also engaged in activities to value the town where we live and where we live.
