Contents of the exhibition
Publishing Kyoto Books, Special Features in Magazines and TV…Kyoto is a city full of charm that is featured in various media throughout the four seasons. But isn't it all just an introduction as a tourist destination Kyoto that I've seen somewhere?
In Kyoto, there are many cute designs that I like maidens somewhere, but the design that lives in Kyoto was not only cute, but also various thoughts.
Old-fashioned manual work, old-fashioned designs are revived to the present day, those that have a love for the season and nature, and those that can be used for a long time. Slow design of Kyoto, cute and gentle, born in such a feeling.…。

<Exhibition & Sales Contents>
- ■Kyoto Suvenile Collection
- The Kyoto Design Exhibition displays Suvenils from 29 famous stores, including long-established Japanese goods, for each store. You can also see installations using Japanese umbrellas and Japanese lighting.
- ■Historical materials, rare goods storehouse
- Special exhibitions include a sample book of Yuzen dyeing Kimono about 150 years ago, Tenugui in Meiji period, sweets from the early Showa era, and business cards from Maiko.
- ■Collaboration between a long-established store in Kyoto Yuzen dyeing and artists
 Fantastic plastic machines Tomoyuki Tanaka and GrooVisions collaborate with Chiso, a long-established store in Kyoto Yuzen dyeing for 450 years. This exhibition will specially produce handmade Yuzen dyeing kimonos expressed by artists who are active around the world.
