Gundam, GI Jo, or Rika-chan.
Everybody has a boy and girl age who was absorbed in playing puppets.
At that time there was certainly a big drama in our head.
From one day, we forgot to play the doll, but
Maybe he had left his dream there with him.
What kind of future would have been if I continued to grow dramas as they were?……。
There are men trying to demonstrate it.
Tomohiro Yasui, a man who has made paper robots for 27 years and has been playing alone.
Katsunori Aoki, a man who discovered and was fascinated by the world he created.
He is a pioneer in the extremely private world and a young leader in the creative world in Japan.
A large exhibition of magnificent and indomitable dramas by the unique strongest tag in one hall! !

What is Cami Robo? |
 |
It's just a piece of paper. He is also the god of battle. That's Cami Robo. |
  |
1977.
A boy stimulated by a robot anime began to make a robot with empty boxes and wires.
The reason for not choosing a plastic model is that plastic cannot express soft movements.
The boy eventually encounters the charm of professional wrestling and creates a Cami Robo play that lets robots fight as Cami Robo wrestlers.
Not to show people, not a collection of decorating rooms, but a form created to meet the extremely private needs of purely "fighting" is functional and no one.
27 years since then. More than 200 wrestlers have been made.
The number of robots before Cami Robo is light, exceeding 400, and everything is miraculously preserved.
Cami Robos, who have different personality and motor nerves, repeatedly repair and deepen their taste in order to continue fighting on mats.
In the head of the author, Tomohiro Yasui, many professional wrestling organizations have been created and disappeared, and a magnificent story like a mythology is nurtured.
In this exhibition, the world created by paper robots, which are only 15 cm tall, will be exhibited in one hall. |

Tomohiro Yasui, the only creator in the world, Cami ROBO creator. |
 |
Tomohiro Yasui, a man who has been making and playing Cami Robo for 27 years.
Its persistence is not only obtained by the natural molding power.
Yoshimoto's view of comedy influenced by the process of growth.
Realism as a wrestler who was active in student professional wrestling.
His knowledge of pop art. All of them are the skeleton of the story of Cami Robo and are projected on the world view.
The secret of sublimating Cami Robo into a drama that has been thought out from mere figures to industrial systems may be in its compound power.
After graduating from university, he went to the world of professional wrestler masks and costume design.
Currently, he is active as a molder for TV characters, figures, toys and food toys.
President of "Yasui Kobo". |
 |
Katsunori Aoki, Evangelist of Cami Robo. |
 |
Katsunori Aoki, an art director who sprints at the forefront of the Japanese advertising industry.
In 2001, I met Cami Robo, created by Yasui, whom I met through work.
This overwhelming view of the world is inspired by Aoki, who has originally aimed at character expressions and has been discovering new talents one after another.
It had enough quality and quantity.
"I want to share this charm with more and more people." Since then, Aoki has recognized himself as a evangelist who has spread the charm of Cami Robo to the world.
Currently, he is actively working with the butterfly stroke stock company, which he leads, as a promotion base for Cami Robo in conjunction with his original business, advertising production. |
|
 |
Is it a delusion? Is it art? Cami Robo goes to the movement. |
 |
Rumors of Cami Robo began to travel all over Japan, triggered by exposure to "Almost Daily Itoi Shimbun" and magazines.
The evaluation is "the simplest and coolest", "the new wave of otaku culture" and "the ultimate private art", but it is decided to be released as a figure from Bandai.
There is no doubt that one movement is starting to boil, such as an event at Korakuen Hall, a sacred place for professional wrestling.
This exhibition aims to unravel and introduce its appeal with more than 200 wrestlers and a huge amount of production materials over 27 years.
At the venue, everyone can enjoy, such as screenings of works that visualize the world view of Cami Robo and live broadcasts of Cami Robo Match are also performed.
Is Cami Robo a new art? Or is it the ultimate otaku culture?
What kind of evaluation do you have? |
