This exhibition was produced by artist Gordon Machag with the intimate cooperation of the St Lamar family. It will be held to celebrate Joe Stramer's spirits and energy and honor his life.

In addition to releasing the sound source of the band "101'ers (group name comes from Walter Ton Road 101 where the band lived without permission at the time)" that Joe formed before the formation of The Crash, unpublished handwritten lyrics, personal drawings and scrapbooks, valuable photographs of the crash period, and papers from fans that Joe kept in a safe place.
In addition to exhibiting unique selections from those collected by St Lamar himself, such as laar artwork and posters made by himself at the Paddington Print Shop (now London Print Shop) about 30 years ago, Joe's annual Glaston Barry's legendary "camp and open-air fire" (some fire will not be reproduced at the venue). In addition, undisclosed Joe photographs by 101'ers and The Crash photographer Julian Yudar will also be exhibited. You can see Joe's unique and intimate shots when he was young. |

The exhibition of the same name in London was held in the area where the flats that Joe illegally occupied during the 101'ers era (Walter Ton & Elgin).
Community Holmes -WECH) has organised. Hundreds of flags made by residents who visited the WECH Summer Festival and at the WECH Youth Club will also be displayed at this exhibition. These flags reflect the thoughts and inspirations of the individual who participated in the workshop, but bring back his spirits to the region Joe loved so much and symbolize his life and life inspiringly and actively. Visitors can also display the flags made at the workshop in the venue at the venue, and visitors can participate in the exhibition themselves. |
