At PARCO Factory, as a spring break project, Domo-kun, a familiar NHK character, will hold an exhibition popping out of NHK so that many people can enjoy Shibuya.
Domo-kun is produced using a traditional technique called "frame shooting animation", which shoots dolls and props while moving them little by little by little by hand.
In this exhibition, a real set of Domo-kun frame shooting animations will be exhibited at once. The `` Usaji's room '' where Domo-kun resides, the `` Ta-chan's room '' full of pop feelings, elaborate miniature props, and of course, Domo-kun, Usajii, Ta-chan and other real characters The dolls are also available.
And Introducing a new animation that Domo-kun plans to broadcast on NHK this year!
"Star Wars / Clone Wars" was directed by George Lucas himself.
The popular anime "Major" that finally enters the 6th series, and the youth story "Bakuman." The director of the professional soccer club introduces topical works such as "GIANT KILLING", an animation of a unique soccer manga of the main character, and "Shinrei Detective Yakumo", an animation of more than 1 million copies of the series.

In addition, a selection of works from Domo-kun's 30-second animation works, which have been celebrating its 11th year this year, will be screened. There are also exhibits of "Ryoma Domo-kun", which is secretly talked about now, and new developments of Domo-kun, which will be greeted this spring.
Domo-kun
It was born on December 22, 1998 as a character commemorating the 10th anniversary of NHK-BS broadcasting.
Warm-filled images shot using the "frame shooting" method, which is created by human hands, have gained popularity across generations, and since 2004, they have been popular not only as BS but also as NHK characters .
The movie created by director Tsuneo Goda, which combines the bizarre and cuteness of Domo-kun, and a unique world view, was popular not only in Japan but also throughout the world through the Internet and other means, and was so popular that it produced many collectors and fans who could be called "Domo mania".
In 2005, Domo-kun began full-scale overseas expansion after receiving a festival overseas, and it was decided to be the first Japanese animation to be broadcast on Nicolo Deon, the U.S. No. 1 kids channel. To date, it has been broadcast in more than 170 countries and regions, including U.K., France, Germany, and Korea.
