At Parco Factory, as a spring break project, Domo-kun, a well-known NHK character, will hold an exhibition that jumps out of NHK so that many people can enjoy Shibuya.
Domo-kun is produced using a traditional method called "frame shooting animation" in which dolls and props are photographed little by little by little by hand.
In this exhibition, a real set of Domo-kun frame shooting animations will be exhibited at once. The "Rabbit Room" where Domo-kun lives, the "Ta-chan's Room" full of pop feeling, the elaborate miniature props, and of course, the characters such as Domo-kun, Usajii, Ta-chan There are also dolls.
And we will also introduce a new animation that Domo-kun plans to broadcast on NHK this year!
George Lucas was the executive producer of "Star Wars/Clone Wars".
The popular anime "Major" finally enters the 6th series, and the youth story "Bakuman." In addition, we will introduce topical works such as "GIANT KILLING", an anime adaptation of a unique soccer manga in which the director of the professional soccer club is the main character, and an anime adaptation of a series of more than 1 million mystery novels, "Shinrei Detective Yakumo".

In addition, a selection of works will be screened from the 30-second animated works of Domo-kun, who celebrated its 11th year this year. There is also an exhibition of the new development of "Ryoma Domo-kun", which is now secretly talked about, and Domo-kun, which is celebrating this spring.
Domo-kun
It was born on December 22, 1998 as a character commemorating the 10th anniversary of NHK-BS broadcasting.
The warm images taken by the "frame shooting" method, which is created by human hands, have attracted popularity across generations, and since 2004, they have been popular not only as BS but also as NHK characters.
The movie with a character setting that combines the bizarreness and cuteness of "Domo-kun" created by director Tsuneo Goda, and a unique worldview spread not only in Japan but also around the world through the Internet, etc., and gained popularity enough to create many collectors and fans that can be called "Domo enthusiasts".
In 2005, after receiving a festival overseas, Domo-kun began full-scale overseas expansion, and the broadcast was decided to be the first Japanese animation to be broadcast on Niccolo Deon, the U.S. No. 1 kids channel. To date, it has been broadcast in more than 170 countries and regions, including U.K., France-Germany, and South Korea.
