Contents of the exhibition
Candy Stripper was formed in 1995 by Yoshie Itabashi and Chiharu Kikuchi, and celebrated its anniversary last year in 2005.
This summer, with thanks to the anniversary commemoration and everyday people, "CANDY" at the Parco Museum. We will hold a solo exhibition entitled STRIPPER WORLD. This event will be held at Studio Coast as the first anniversary commemorative event, following the Candy Stripper 10th Anniversary Party, which mobilized 3,000 people.
『CANDY STRIPPER WORLD In this exhibition, we will look back on Candy Stripper's history and exhibit works inspired by Candy Stripper by artists active in various fields only during the exhibition period.
Candy Stripper's world view at a glance, two rooms <CANDY ROOM>Produced the Stripper Room.
Looking back on the past 10 years since the formation of Candy Stripper, about 80 histories and visuals are exhibited, collection videos and Candy Screening of a celebration VTR from about 60 celebrities related to Stripper.
Candy Stripper's collaborative works with artists, musicians, and fashion brands related to them will be exhibited and sold in the <Art Works>, <Music Works>, and <Goods>.
『CANDY STRIPPER WORLD Collaboration Project
In commemoration of "CANDY STRIPPER WORLD", a dream collaboration is realized with artists, musicians and fashion brands associated with Candy Stripper. Valuable works produced only for this solo exhibition will be exhibited and sold in the <Art Works>, <Music Works>, and <Goods Division> installed in the venue.
