Every time you change the concept of each individual (fashion, makeup, hair color, hairstyle, etc.), it has a completely different Dole-like charm.
It is supported by many fans in Japan and overseas, especially adult women who are sensitive to fashion and trends.
Blythe has a long history, and it was sold as a toy for children by Kenner in the United States for one year from 1972 to 1973, but it was discontinued due to the popularity of children at that time.
After nearly 30 years, he met Blythe and produced Junko Wong, the representative of Cross World Connections (CWC), who was attracted to the charm of Blythe, and in 2000 Parco broadcasted a TV commercial modeled on Blythe in Japan. Blythe's cute charm caught the hearts of those who saw it and caused sensational.
The following year, in 2001, as a fashion Dole "Neo Blythe" with new values for adult women, a reprinted Blythe produced by CWC and manufactured by Takara Tommy Co., Ltd. was released. At the same time, he also started working as a model for fashion magazines and advertisements. In 2002, adorable Petit Blythe, a small version of Neo Blythe, also appeared.
In the same year, Blythe 1st Anniversary Charity Exhibition began. Held an exhibition of Blythe, which was totally styled by fashion brands and creators, and started charity activities to donate the entire amount to charity auctions the following year after a tour of Japan and overseas.
In 2005, Blythe Bell, a figure version of Blythe, was also released.
Since then, Neo Blythe and Petit Blythe have been designed and produced based on the original concept, and have been loved by fans both in Japan and overseas as a fashion Dole for modern adult women.
Currently, under a regular contract with Hasbro, the United States, which has Blythe license, CWC has obtained Blythe licenses in Japan and Asia, Australia, Oceania, etc., and manages total production and licensing of Blythe products and events.
By March 2011, more than 370 types of Neo Blythe and Petit Blythe have been released.
